Our treatment for hair loss called PRP (Platelet-rich plasma) uses the growth factors-rich plasma from the patient's own blood to encourage new hair growth. A tiny amount of the patient's blood must be drawn, processed to concentrate the platelets, and the concentrated plasma must then be injected into the scalp. By supplying growth factors and nutrients straight to the hair follicles, PRP therapy is thought to stimulate the follicles and encourage hair growth.
